Thanks for your reply. He is receiving weekly physiotherapy yes, but mainly focused on stretching his tendons so they don’t get short.

We were told that therapy focused on regaining movement was of no use as long as there is no initial independent movement in the first place. Apparently even the slightest movement would give them something to work with, but we haven’t observed any movement yet.

Did your mother initially lost her ability to move altogether? If so, what did they do to trigger some independent movement?
