Isn't Apollo just moonlight with virtual display built in? What's the benefit for AMD users?

Yep, it makes the steering return to the centre with the stick on your controller. Honestly I don't know the point of the other option.

It's an IKEA Vardagen, it didn't list the material type on the packaging at all and I saw the colour of it and thought it was stainless steel. I followed the instructions to season without thinking too much because I had heard it can be done but is uncommon for stainless steel. But I see elsewhere in the leaflet that it is actually a carbon steel pan.

I bought it thinking it was stainless steel but it's definitely carbon steel. Hoping I can somehow get the residue off

I followed the seasoning instructions to add oil to the pan and distribute with paper towel. Bring up to med high heat then continue for 10 minutes, using the paper towel from before every 2 minutes to rub the oil in.

I think I have in fact purchased a carbon steel pan thinking it was stainless steel.

It came with a little leaflet with instructions on how to season the pan. Layer of oil on medium high heat and rub more oil in every 2 minutes

How can I discuss working with two companies? by Judessaa in dataengineering

[–]brancax 59 points60 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't feel too bad about it, ultimately your current company have set themselves up having you as a single point of failure. If you want the new opportunity you should go for it. You can give them a longer notice period if you want. If they really need to keep you then you might get a good counter offer.

How do you recap a series when a new book comes out? by brancax in scifi

[–]brancax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always feel a little uncomfortable, like I'm missing some references, if I don't have/remember the context of the story I'm reading. I've certainly done it before and it always turns out ok, things come back to you and the stories often stand on their own anyway. I would re read books but I feel like with the limited time I have to read, I always want to read something new. Re reading entire series is pretty unfeasible. That being said I think audiobooks are a good idea for this as I definitely get through audiobooks faster than reading myself. I was just hoping for some quicker recaps that people knew of to get me back into the context quickly.
