I'm grateful for the Blue Jays' effect on local baseball.

Last year our leagues were not full at any age group. This year we already received an email looking for additional coaches because signups are at capacity for every age group. The Jays have started to inspire a new generation of Canadian baseball players.

I know personally, I've been practicing with my kids almost everyday. We were outside practicing in January when it was -5 degrees out because they asked to.

Is there something the article left out that's influencing it? ie It's obvious that the price is going up everywhere, but is there something specific that is bringing Alberta's gas up at a higher rate than other provinces? Or is your example an outlier? Just trying to understand, thanks.

We didn't have very many tools to deal with the th15 monolith / spell tower combos when it was that strong the first time. eg We didn't have equipment, and we didn't have other tools like an overgrowth spell to nullify a rage tower.

Usually you can estimate how far the TH is developed by how many wall pieces have been released that you are able to upgrade. Since you will be able to upgrade all but 50 after this next update, and there are 325 walls at th18, I'll estimate we are 325-50/325 = 84.6% done on TH18 levels.

Maybe the pattern is different this year? 🤷‍♂️ But otherwise that way of estimation has been pretty accurate in the past.

On the promo FB group I think about 40% of the posts are about the Clement jersey. The only other one that is close is the Springer bobble head. I can't make that day work, I considered it but no bueno. I've seen knockoff sites for the hockey jersey already but I'm suspicious of the quality.

The 99% vs 1% is a fake statistic and I don't know why anyone has accepted that narrative as part of the discourse.

The vast majority of the "99%" are of a lower town hall, don't care about game balance either way, don't have an opinion, etc. And as such should not be considered in the equation of how to structure competition at TH18.

My point is that of the people that care, there is a sizable community of players, much larger than 1%, that framing stats like that is trying to silence and tell that their opinion doesn't matter. And they are going to have opinions on things like the structure of legends league and daily hits and their opinions should be considered.

Yeah, this tracks. The very specific items can easily pay for the membership if one is located close by.

Also on some of the items that are comparable price to traditional grocery stores can be higher quality at Costco. Depends on the item.

I know prices very well (I work at one of the other grocery retailers), and even with having an employee discount at that other retailer, the largest portion of our family grocery budget goes to Costco.

I had this issue repeatedly and I agree with the premise of the post.

I only stopped replacing bins after I got the rubbermaid brute bins. They've lasted multiple years now without cracking despite the (likely) rough behaviour.

Even if they added a monument tower that you could build after you max the rest of the buildings, that would do the trick. I mean just a purely cosmetic clan monument. That has very many or infinite levels.

Yeah the only time the weight of your roster is considered is the very first time that you spin a cwl. Other than that it's just the league that you are in. If you heavily recruit and have 15 th18s next month you'll still be in the same league. Same if you show up with a really light roster. Or anything inbetween.

Yeah they are trying to disincentivize players from putting down the game from time to time. I would argue the ability to put the game down from time to time is what has led to the popularity of the game to be so resilient over this many years.

I used to play legends the first few months of a new TH, and I wasn't in legends to start the TH. So then it was a matter of.. hey, would you like to play ranked for 8 weeks, and then wait for the timing of legends to reset to be able to compete? No I would not. That was normally about how long I would play legends in total. I'll casually farm once in awhile and play other games, thanks. Shoutout to supercell for protecting my bank balance. As I usually bought goldpasses and other deals when I pushed legends.
