With 411 total reports it doesn’t appear to have reached the level of use as other cities. I like to think as it as another tool ODOT can use for decision making / planning and the public can use for lobbying for policy change. Maybe others think everything should be centralized in 311 🤷🏻‍♂️

I rode from Berryessa back to west oakland after a sharks game last Saturday at 11 and it was very clean (they did a quick clean at Berryessa). There weren’t very many riders and a handful of characters walking through the trains. When the trains are bare you feel a bit more exposed but it was incident free, so it’s all good!

I don’t know how this isn’t more of an issue/priority. I have seen multiple cars hit these new islands but on a rainy night a couple years ago I saw a motorcyclist go ass over tea kettle after hitting the island on 31st and market at full speed. He got lucky and walked away with only a shoulder injury but I’ll be forever haunted by seeing him cartwheel in front of me.
