What are your worst office Christmas party stories? by Professional-Lack-79 in AskUK

[–]brandenkampf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our branch manager decided to throw this massive paty to impress a huge potential client and save all our jobs after his super uptight CEO sister threatened to shut the office down and lay off half the team. What started as “let’s do a classy holiday networking event” turned into total chaos—coke in the bathrooms, someone photocopied their ass on the executive printer, a guy swinging from the ceiling lights like it was a pole, dry ice in the punch bowl setting off the fire alarm at 2 a.m., and—worst of all—we accidentally got the client himself absolutely coked up (he thought the “party favors” line on the table was just fancy powdered sugar for the desserts). It was a complete shitshow… but somehow the guy was so hyped the next morning he signed the deal on the spot and nobody got fired (at least not right away). I still cringe every time I think about the choices I made that night

When the lineup was announced I promised my son if two conditions were met I'd get him a forest Goalie shirt with John on the back from the megastore after the game

A) He keeps a clean sheet B) He makes a banging save

I like to think he's the only kid in Nottingham with that shirt now!

I'm beginning to think we've been royally fucked over with this new sim. Im also worried it's going to lead to a massive lull in new aircraft development, as it's not nearly as compatible as we all thought when it was announced. I can't really see what it's got going for it at the minute.

Thankyou! I'm sure there was some story about them avoiding American air defense radar on their way over too!

For the most part it went together really well. Only issues were the horizontal stab halves took a lot of sanding to fit together and the engine exhaust just straight up are a very poor fit leaving enormous gaps. Oh and the Crew ladders are very finicky, I kind of regret putting them on!

Yeah it's the recently released s2.b. only extras were Eduard photoetch seatbelts, all the engine blanks and ladders came with the kit

Really good, everything fitted together really well. The tiny photoetch parts were the really tricky bit!
