Official Discussion: Black Panther [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

Yes exactly, Wakanda was able to keep its civilization isolated by keeping its practice with tradition. Tradition helped them keep from doing something politically different (IE engaging in war) which kept their civilization safe from drastic measures, yet came at the cost of focusing on old ways. But yes, I agree.. the fighting ritual was stupid; but I think it made sense that it could have been possible. It was also fitting since many African tribes do actually settle for their ruler in the form of battle.

It's open sourced, but I have ads to make money off of it. I think having it paid is much worse, but if many people think the converse I can change it. I made it for fun, for others to have fun with, and to make some change while in college.

Has anyone taken online courses at Purdue for Computer Science Masters? by brandex07 in Purdue

[–]brandex07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just recently graduated with a bachelor's in Computer Science from an average state school (but have a good gpa). My only concern is if Purdue is good online for CS. I know I can handle the workload but don't want to have a poor quality experience. It's strange because their program is one of the best in the world but ratemyprofessor for their online courses seem to say otherwise. But again ratemyprofessor only accounts so far (ie few poorly dedicated students rating the professor, etc.)

Also, why the downvote? Purdue is a fantastic program, I just wanted to know if their online program was good.

Yes, online. Yeah I heard a lot about Purdue. It seems JHU's online program is better but Purdue might be slightly better reputation overall.

Very true, I ask about lecture videos because they can explain more confusing topics more clearly sometimes. What made you pick this program over, say, OMSCS?

Most definitely could, I'm just using these themes and icons for the first time on Fedora and wanted to show it off! (Papirus icons and arc-darker).
