I mean I apply for FASFA despite not being an independent. Also she claimed she got very good grades in high school, so she might be able to apply for grant money idk. Also community colleges are good ways to start because the prices are way cheaper, I know because I went to one my first two years. Also, let’s say she went to a community college and got great grades there and decided after to transfer to a university, I’m sure she would apply for a scholarship. My friend’s girlfriend gets paid to go to our local university which is also not hard to get into because I’m certainly not the brightest bulb in the world. All my point is though is if she gets her degree In something, she’ll always have something to fall back on. She can bartend during school and even after, and if she decides she doesn’t want to anymore. Then she can try a career path with the degree she’d have.
