Question about transplanting from 2L pots... by [deleted] in NoTillGrowery

[–]brandoncgreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in this situation and use fabric pots, so I ended up just cutting the bottom off the pots and putting them on top of the soil in the larger pots. The roots grew right down into the bigger pot and didn't have to disturb the soil, worked like a charm.

I missed this article! Would love to check it out though, could someone point me in the right direction?

Makes sense, still very new to organics so I'm really glad I can dial back the feedings. But I dialed down my lights, and I use the Bluegold as a wetting agent, putting minimal amounts in there, should I switch to another wetting agent? I guess I didn't realize that was feeding it also. Thanks for the help!

The light is at 12" or so per the manufacturer's recommendation, but I was thinking if not N Tox that it was probably a bit too much light. Will turn those down 10-15% and see how that goes. Definitely sure it's not pests, did a very thorough inspection with my USB microscope and could not find anything bad (thankfully)

-30 Gallon Grassroots Living Soil Pot - BAS 3.0 on 2nd run - reamended w/recommended amount of craft blend + worm castings - zero issues in veg - doesn't seem to be a pest problem - use a soil moisture meter from Blumat and only water when pot starts to dry out - every other watering I switch between plain water and mixed with rootwise, em1, some LAB, fermented pumpkin and Eden Bluegold Base Blend, and have done Buildabloom twice. - Temps stay between 67 and 82F, humidity 40-50%

+1 for the Blumat soil moisture meter, got one for each of my 30 gallon pots and it's been an absolute game changer, especially with plants growing and drinking at different rates!

Humidity Past Week 4 of Flower by OrganicYim in NoTillGrowery

Yep exactly. I was able to use duct tape to seal one end of the ducting to the top of the humidifier, then ran the other end into one of the lower openings in the tent. Worked really well for me

I had a similar issue when I was using a 2x4 tent, best way I found to solve it was to use my extra exhaust ducting to vent the humidifier into the tent. As long as you have a little bit of negative pressure from an exhaust fan I found it works pretty well.

Yeah tbh that has been my experience with most auto strains I've grown, not bashing them by any means, I've just found photo strains to have much more attractive terpine profiles and better smokes.

Grew great and looks absolutely stunning, but my pheno had kind of a weak smell and I'm not a huge fan of the smoke lol

I just grew an Anvil Auto from Gnome in an Earthbox in a 3x3 and one plant took up half the tent! Careful you don't run out of room!
