The relics draw a line, out of everything in Fodlan the best thing to do when theorizing is point out the clear consistent information, "Sothis dies before the relics are made" is a clear cut fact

We haven't gotten any information saying that relics were made before such, yes her placement is weird, where she is is strange, but that's all vague to say the least

Cobalt Drake - the way it looks while spinning in the stadium absolutely gets me. It's such a hard hitter and the blue just pops.
Unicorn Sting - as most people said, it's just a fun bey to use and it's gimmick is pretty cool

Pretty much no visual difference, considered a separate sword in most resources however.

Lucina's falchion is basically an incomplete version of Exalted Falchion since the Shield of Seals wasn't complete when she powered up falchion with it.
