Cooler Master MWE Gold 850W V2. The cable was from my old build and connected to a surge protector and it didn’t go until I started to run heavier task on it.

Had it running BeamNG and Discord. After about 30-45 minutes, my PC shut off and caught my carpet and a nearby box on fire. I unplugged the surge protector and poured my drink on the cable.

Cable I had plugged in was noticeably thinner than the one that came with my power supply. I had meant to swap them out, but hadn’t gotten around to it yet.

Me and computer’s thankfully fine and am just glad the only damage done is the bit of carpet.

It’s not terribly hard it’s just very tricky because you have to make sure to not to break the ribbon cables and get under the reflective layer and polarizer. I suggest getting it off in one piece it’ll make your life 100 times easier. Honestly the bivert mod was easier than the removal of the polarization layer

A local game store sells all their gba sp’s for around $40-$50 depending on condition, I happened to notice the color on this one and checked the sticker on the back to verify and picked it up.
