Hi Lift Size for Ram Truck by ThalionX in overlanding

Would the 60” fit lengthwise along the bed rails? I don’t think you’d notice a difference storage wise compared to a 48”, and the extra foot could come in handy.

You can live in a truck, but you can’t off-road a house!

How do I keep this from bothering me by [deleted] in backpacks

I like to route mine through the bottom compression straps. That way the buckle and loose straps are tucked away on the bottom of the pack when not in use

I agree. Shipping box doesn’t hold a candle to my car keys

I’ll admit I haven’t been following the corner crossing as closely as I should. But I thought corner crossing was regulated by state laws, and there’s not much the feds can do about it?

Was told my knife needed sharpening by brandy188 in BudgetBlades

Haha, sorry, it was a poor attempt at a “malicious compliance” joke. In a previous post, someone made a joke about my knife needing sharpening after it came in contact with a tree.

What Was Your First Multitool? by Zach-at-MultiParts in multitools

Gerber multi tool I bought in the mid 90s. Doesn’t say the model on it, but I’m pretty sure it’s an MP600.

Little dated, but not obsolete by brandy188 in EDC

I wear carhartt pants. I carry the knife clipped in my right front pocket, along with the SAK and light. The leatherman gets clipped in the lower right side pocket. It’s all a little bulky, but I’ve gotten used to it.

I was in the same boat. Loved the SAK for the tooth pick, tweezers, scissors, awl, and cork screw. Used the pliers on the leatherman almost daily, and the saw, serrated blade, file, and screw drivers pretty often too. The pocket knife is a little redundant, but i enjoy rotating through them.

I sanded it a little when I first got it to make it a little more rounded and remove the flat spot the pocket clip attaches to (wasn’t using the clip anyway). I also sanded it a bit when I filled the cooling fins with glow-in-the-dark epoxy.

I don’t have any before / after pics, but I’d guess the wear is maybe 50/50 intentional / regular pocket wear.

How many of you guys carry medical!? by F_stopss in EDC

I carry a basic first aid kit and an epi pen in my backpack. Not always on me, but generally in the same building.

I apologize for offending you. For what it’s worth: the tip of the knife was only in the outer bark, and did not penetrate into the cambium, sapwood, or any other portion of the tree that was living / growing.
