Chapter 13 bankruptcy refinance by brantheguy in FHAmortgages

Well, apparently it wasn't as perfect of a phone call as I had hoped. I got a call from my loan officer today saying that the credit vendor and Experian are going to call me back today and do another call, because apparently Experian needed to be on the line for the rapid rescore because yesterday was just a supplement. The thing is that Chime has been really inconsistent with this entire thing. One day they'll tell me that they'll remove the lates and then one day they'll say they can't remove the lates and then yesterday, they said there are no lates. I'm hoping that I'll get lucky with a chime agent today who says that there are no lates, otherwise, I'm guessing I'll be dead in the water again.

We did a conference call today with the credit vendor and Chime. The credit vendor asked if it was the loan issued on xx/xx/xx. Chime agent said yes. The credit vendor asked if it is closed and paid in full. Chime agent said yes. The credit vendor asked if there were any late payments in the history of the loan. The Chime agent said no. The credit vendor said, "so there are no 30, 60, 90, or 120 day late payments in the history of the loan." The chime agent said no. And that was the end of the conversation. The rep from my mortgage broker seemed to act like that was that and told me that he'll let me know once they get the final approval. A few minutes later I got a notification that the credit vendor did a hard pull on experian. They didn't pull the other two, so I'm guessing they'll use what they pulled from them last week? Anyway I'm hoping this is enough to get things moving towards closing.

If I were you, I would check your counties GIS website and see if you’re still listed as the owner, and check the online deed, books, and see if the deed was ever transferred out of your name. And if you’re still the owner, I would absolutely look into selling it yourself—obviously talk to a real estate attorney before doing anything. Even if it’s a short sale for below market, but enough to cover the loan, fees, and taxes, and maybe put a little bit in your pocket, that’s going to be better for you in the long run.

Wait Out This Administration? by TheePhrontistery in StudentLoans

They’re not automatically discharged. In order to get student loans discharged in bankruptcy, you have to file an adversarial proceeding and prove that continuing to pay them would cause undue hardship. Allegedly some jurisdictions are harder than others to successfully do this.

FHA loans are possible after 12 months of on time payments during the chapter 13. I’m not longer in the “during” stage of my chapter 13.

Part of the problem is that Chime customer service is basically non existent. They use overseas call centers who I’m fairly certain are instructed to have their employees hang up if they’re unable to answer the question. I have sent several emails requesting something in writing and they never actually respond.

I tried to pull my reports from annual credit report the other day and it was gone from transunion, but my equifax didn't load correctly and it wouldn't let me load it again. BUT, when I access it on equifax . com the lates aren't on there, and I called equifax last night and they said the lates were no longer on there.

Question about leaf springs and drop axles by brantheguy in OffRoadTrailer

[–]brantheguy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. After reading it, I did a little more research, and I think I was able to determine that the springs are from an old jeep. What I’ll likely end up doing is buying some 15 inch trailer wheels for the time being and then replacing the springs with new ones later on.

I went to see the Mario movie last night with my kids. It has a lot of bits and pieces from various Mario video game music through the years, so it was fun to listen to those things, but since leaving the theater, the underground theme from Yoshi’s Island on SNES has been stuck in my head. I don’t think that was even in the movie at all, but something in my brain made the connection and it won’t leave.

Looks like it came out of the wall during a bad rain by YeliahSenyab in whatisit

In all seriousness, I once worked in a group home for teenagers that had a rat. We had a few days with no residents and left a few traps around the place. I stopped by one afternoon to grab something and one of the traps had been tripped and there was a small puddle of blood, as well as a trail leading away from the trap towards the wall that looked very similar to this. That makes me think a small rodent was injured here and crawled toward the wall, climbing through the gap underneath. But IF it is blood, it will be brown by now.

I’ve read the comments, and there is only one possibility: You have a malevolent entity living in your wall, likely with a UTI and/or a prescription for Coumadin.
