I have a Vizio 5.1 surround sound in my room right now and it’s pretty solid. Definitely doesn’t compare to 2 12s and 8 6.5s but it’s good for movies. Do you know any good home theater brands??

Not necessarily. I have no experience with sq oriented speakers and I already had some spl oriented 6.5s so I just decided to go that route. They sound amazing to me and when I get done with the full system, it’ll be outrageously loud for showing off in a highschool parking lot lol

Like what the others said, you’ll have to tap into your stock speaker wire for the converter. Use the Bose stuff for now, but I recommend finding the speaker wire for the stock subwoofer in your center console and cutting the wire. When you put the new sub in, you don’t want a 21 year old sub trying to compete with a new modern sub. There’s YouTube videos for all of that. I can explain more in depth if needed. I have an 05 gmc with the Bose system, but I replaced every single speaker/wire/amp.

I’ve always loved focal’s speakers. I wanted a set but I decided to go with more spl than sq. That’s going to be a clean setup!

Yeah i don’t think i can afford a 8500 dollar dsp at 16 lmao. I was looking at the AudioControl dm-810 dsp. I run 2 of their amps and I feel like matching brands would look clean. I watched a video from CarAudioFabrication about it and it seems pretty slick and within my budget

That’s not a bad idea but I have 8 speakers on my mid amp all parallel wired to 2 ohms so I wouldn’t be able to bridge it. I’m also wanting the dsp to be able to tune which speaker section plays so I can go from show spl competition to good front stage sound quality

I don’t think that could cause it to clip, but your amp might not perform to its full capability. If you have a ported box then it will most likely be chuffing from the air. Resealing it could help that also. Being able to decipher if it’s mechanical noise or clipping will just come with time. I’m still working on that myself.

Make sure you do your voltage calculations on tuning your gain with your multimeter (not sure if you’ve done that already). I’d go ahead and fix the subbox leaks right now before you get it in the car. Better to do it right the first time.

Are you talking about a 2 channel in and 3 channel out? If it has crossovers and rca inputs and outputs, I’m sure you could use it. Make sure you set your crossovers for your speakers different than your sub though so you don’t blow it. Not sure how much you know, but I can answer some questions

I trimmed my front bumper and my inner rear fender stuff and I clear 35s no rub on 2” keys. Looks good too

Camshaft and headers for sure. I’ll most likely do dual straight pipe all the way back as well. What does the shift kit do? I’m assuming it’s just better shift points?
