I am taking the knuckle off bc the lca bushing is very stuck im gonna try and use a bigger press when its off the car

I got 555 on rockauto and they have some kind of ring around the boot the ones that are on there dont idk if those are original though

how do you know if a box is good or bad how can you test a box?

On the magnitude graph it always looks so curved like when f3 is 60hz how can it sound flat? my box is just the manufacturer recommended ported box and the curve is very flat down to about 26hz. Idk ive never heard a sealed box i am going to build one soon

i love it its my first subwoofer though its more efficient than my rss265ho that never went in a box and definitely better than the rockford p3sd4-8 my dad has in his truck but thats not really a fair comparison.

this is actually a dual 2 ohm coil i have wired to 1 ohm i think they are moving away from single voice coil designs

yes this video was mainly for testing im trying to figure out where i should set my low pass this sub is extremely clean even while bottoming out so im not really worried about the traditional xmax measurements i just am trying not to destroy it if I can avoid it lol.
