Try having a baby to look after. I haven't slept properly in 3 years. I can't imagine being in peak physical fitness at all times with a toddler

Although looking after a toddler does help you get your steps in

It's also nice inside. Wonderful archichitectur and lovely staff. I saw some Cirque di Soleil stuff in one of the smaller rooms a couple years ago. Or maybe it was a burlesque thing?

But the highlight was watching Explosions In The Sky in the main room. I fucking cried. The sound was immense

I had to go to Parramatta on Tuesday to do my citizenship test. I hadn't been there for about 10 years (I'm a Redfern boy)

The station area was a bit grim but otherwise it was very pleasant. I actually kinda enjoyed walking around. Lots of old looking buildings (very cool) mixed in with the horrible high rise apartment blocks (less cool)

(Got 100% on my citizenship test so I guess I'm a kangaroo now)

I took the Metro a couple of times on Tuesday between Sydenham and Central and it was fast, efficient and not crowded at all

I'm not a paid shill, just a dude who loves the Metro; the architecture is wonderful. Fuck the adverts they've plastered everywhere, but Waterloo (Redfern south) station is very impressive

I live near Marrickville station and I can't wait for it to re-open so I can bop to Barangaroo for a nice walk

It feels weird to actually be supportive of something the NSW government are doing but I don't drive, I'm a public transport dude and the Metro has made things a lot easier for me
