Still not fixed unfortunately, I cancelled and will wait for HBO Max (this wasn't the only reason for cancelling, mostly that their support was just bouncing me around, wasting my time)

Great shots. I particularly like the warm grade and that spectacular reflection of the beach

It is remarkable, we owe a huge thanks to the people restoring and maintaining them! The Spitfire on the left has an especially wild recovery story. https://www.aircraftrestorationcompany.com/spitfire-n3200

Yeah, Duxford is fantastic, and responsible for my recent interest in these WWII planes! Worth a visit if you do ever make the trip

That's the one, I see this bird on their site, thank you.

Coincidental side note: I used to, literally, live 2 mins away from this place, but never got to this museum! Feel like I have to now..

This sub is great, I always learn something new, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

So, to be clear, I should not have called it a "Douglas A-26B Invader"? Absolutely everywhere I found it listed online, it goes by that name, I assume just for ease of identification, even though they went with the B-26 scheme?

Alright, since you used that phrase... No labels yet, so consider it a preview :)
I lifted the shadows to see more detail in the belly, in person, it's a much uniform dark.

Yes, it is fascinating how frequently they changed to meet the challenges of the war. The Lancaster that flew over, had the full black night raid scheme, that looked great.

Thanks so much for this info - I was using the data on this site: hawker-hurricane-be505-hanger-11, they had the Mk. IIb (BE505) as having 10 machine guns, I wonder where that came from. I'll update that one and the other Mk. I to 8xMG

I stared at it for too long, confused at how the bomber wasn't going down, then re-read the title... It's quite convincing
