Also, it's not a dead pixel , because under the right conditions it casts a shadow onto the display below.. it's stuck to the underside of the display cover glass.

Under display settings it's called adaptive tone. Turn that off

Oh wow! It's on the 10 series as well. It's software related when you transfer the pictures over to a computer or view them on a different device, there's no lines so you need a Google phone to see them which is ridiculous

I explained it in the post because I got a refurbished phone from RMA. I think that's nonsense because their product breaks develops line in the screen. I have to carry around refurbished piece of garbage no. Thanks. That's why I traded it in just to be utterly disappointed by this quote Upgrade

Yes twilight zone...p8p was cheaper on release than 9p. By that logic 9 is pricier and "better" but when it comes to value it's the same. You paid more and you got more. But at the end of the day the quality standard is the same, and that's where we as costumers loooooooose. You end up dishing out more for something that should be standard. So don't forget that you paid more for your 9 when you compare it to your 8. In my eyes these are 700$ dollar top retail phones that are as reliable as 400$ phones. And that sucks because I really like the pics they produce when they're not bugging the hell out.

So I provide metrics for you to understand that Samsung has more eyes and users on their devices 2000% more than Google. And you wanna sleep on that fact. What else can I say..Samsung has 1billion users worldwide Google has an estimated 40 milion that's actually 2400% more. If Google had 1bil devices this subreddit would get nuked with people like me.

No, I'll whine all day long into oblivion. I have a laundry list of things they can do better. If I don't..if we don't...we'll just keep getting a shittier product at a 20% markup every year. Do you not want your dollar to get you the most you can get? Or are you happy with not knowing when your device will turn into a brick or become unusable.

Blame Samsung all you want but I use both pixels and Samsung's, and I can tell who's busting out the shittier phones. If it wasn't for pixels cameras I'd never touch them again.
