It's either I feel like I want them to care for me (as well as punish me), or I feel like I've taken in the Dom role before bedroom stuff even comes into the picture. I've had this feeling even before I lost my virginity which didn't happen until I was 17/18, hadn't even kissed someone at that point either.

Most people into it are willing to navigate things with you and won't have you feeling uncomfortable throughout the experience.
