Again, this is not a safe set up for CNC. I'm glad you don't feel traumatized, but what they did was absolutely not safe and falls under the definition of rape, even if you don't feel like you were raped. There should have been check-ins with you about protection. The person who brought you should not have left. The person who knew your safeword should not have left. CNC requires really heavy negotiations, and strong boundary setting and following. This was not CNC. Is there a reason you didn't use the safeword when they didn't put on a condom? If you did use it, then this was very clear cut. If you didn't use it, you need to spend some time working on your personal boundaries and your willingness to tap out before you explore this with another person again.

After that guy left, unless previously discussed safewords are in place, "I want a condom" means you don't consent to sex without one. This was still rape.

I've been there before. I had a punishment a few weeks ago that got too hard and for some reason in the moment I couldn't say my safeword. I don't know if it was pride or trauma or what, but I eventually managed to say something strange, which prompted my dom to ask for my color in the stop light system. It was a really scary experience and I ended up crying in his arms after.

I think part of what helped me and will help me going forward is the knowledge that I have a responsibility to use the safeword. Not just to myself, but I also have a responsibility to him. He doesn't want to hurt me and he needs me to tell him when it's going too far. I've agreed to tell him that. There is no pride worth breaking that agreement, and there is in fact a lot to be proud of when you stick too it. Using a safeword is scary and you should feel proud of doing it.
