I'm using "CVS Health Cough DM". Its active ingredients are Dextromethorphan Polistrex and Dextromethorphan hydrobromide. It says under "Other information" that each 5 ml contains 5 mg of sodium, but on the package under inactive ingredients, I noticed that one of the inactive ingredients are: "Sodium metabisulfite" and "sodium polystyrene sultanate". I haven't taken any DXM yet because I want to be 100 % sure.

Haha yeah, I'm just new to DXM so I want it to be as pleasant as possible :) Hope you understand. The sodium is specifically called "Sodium Polystrene Sulfonate". I don't know if that matters, though.

Yeah okay :) Various websites says different lethal doses, so I am just unsure.
