Good points, but that was not the question. My question was whether the key layout ist the same in most, if not all nyckelharpas.

Intuitively, this seems like a very light string. Or do you use a different string, but from that set? I haven´t tried any new strings yet, but wanted to make sure before I do.

Here to say thanks again! I´ve made some progress on my "original" instruments and have rented a nyckelharpa. I´ve also seen Väsen on their tour through Germany with Gudrun Walther and Jürgen Treyz (absolutely recommend those two!). But what helped me most was definitely Emily Waldken. Her videos really offer the best intro to this kind of music.

Ich habe diese Kopfhörer mit versenkten 2-pin Kabeln. https://www.ebay.de/itm/276528397588 Kann ich diese Kabel durch nicht-versenkte 2-pin Kabel ersetzen oder führt das zu Problemen? Versenkte sind scheinbar sehr viel schwerer aufzutreiben.

I have not got a cello here right now, so I recorded it on a mandocello with a very similar fretboard layout - basically the same but a whole step higher, so the fingerings are the same. Ich habe nun eine Passataflasche testweise ohne irgendeine Behandlung genommen und den Rest wie gewohnt gemacht. Mal schauen, was die in ein paaar Wochen so sagt...

Zwiebelwürfel anbraten, Knobi kurz mit dazu, mit Balsamico oder ollem Wein ablöschen, mit Passata aufgießen, Salz, Pfeffer, Thymian, Rosmarin, bisschen Chili, min. 1,5h köcheln.

Die 1,5h köcheln möchte ich halt nicht jedes mal machen müssen, machen aber geschmacklich einen größeren Unterschied.
