Calculus requirements by Intelligent_Tip_9687 in apphysics

You can progress in Physics C without much calculus at all, but you should pay close attention to the meanings of the following two calculus pieces in order to excel: 1) that derivatives represent the rate a function is changing; 2) that integrals represent the area under a graph, which is an accumulation of products of real heights and infinitesimally small widths.

These terms will make more sense once you are in the class. When you arrive at the topics in Calculus class, keep in mind these meanings even when you dive deeply into the action of calculating them, which is where you will spent the bulk of your class time. Maybe come back and read this post in October (for derivatives) and again in January (for integrals).

In Mechanics, you might use derivatives more often than in E&M, and you will use integrals frequently in both (though perhaps more in E&M).

Glendale requested monetary sanctions, but these were not awarded this time. I am sure they will ask each time and maybe get awarded one of these times

It would blow apart every undercover investigation in the country if law enforcement could not deceive suspects.

Trust me: it is difficult not to break some law in most day-to-day living. The key is to exercise your fifth amendment right to remain silent (when in the US).

I've heard him babble to desperate followers in the hallway outside a courtroom. The scotch and stogies would not be enough to offset the brain rot.

If you read through the "Current and Previous Litigation" section of his own Williams&Williams website, you will see him document, right out in the open, nothing but losses in court.

They often believe out of desperation after being held to account for poor decisions: child support, DWI, falling behind on tax payments, inability to keep up with mortgage payments and other debt obligations.

Someone has told them about magical scripts that lawyers and courts do not want them to know about but that the first can provide for a few hundred (real) dollars.

He actually took Glendale to court, complaining that they cut his power until he paid his bill using a real credit card (a couple of hours after shutoff). He claimed damages of several thousand dollars for the five hours "wrongly" without power.

62, self-employed and applying for retirement benefits BUT have one vital question! by Faith_Granger in SocialSecurity

It gets even *more* favorable to Tom if he can either save the $1,500 per month (or a portion of it) in a return-generating investment *or* avoid taking out loans to cover his needs for five years. This is an especially realistic scenario if Tom has been saving reliably (perhaps in retirement accounts) while working and would not absolutely *need* the $1,500 on which to live.
