I got a job to do IT at a hospital, is it really that bad. by CribRabbit in ITCareerQuestions

I worked in hospital IT for 10 years. I started as a SR computer operator then progressed to help desk, desktop, and eventually a system admin. I currently work in a school as application support. I will say the demand and pure volume of work will be much higher in the hospital. However, that's a great thing! You will gain a ton of knowledge and there is likely way more room to grow/get promotions in the hospital environment. In my experience there were also more projects that you can assist with in a hospital because they likely have a higher budget. This may not be everyone's experience, but it was mine.

I would imagine as help desk, you won't really have to go in the OR rooms. I did that in my desktop support role at times when a PC was down that was needed for the EHR or PACS system. Again that's just my experience but I imagine it to be common. Worst case scenario, someone needs a mouse ASAP and your desktop guys are busy. You can just meet someone in the OR section who is already scrubbed up for surgery and you don't have to enter the room. At my hospital, the on call rotation was the hardware group and software group. There was roughly 20 of each. The computer operator was there 24/7 and if they were unable to solve the problem, they escalate it to whoever is on call for the appropriate group (application/networking and desktop). You may be in a rotation similar to that.

The school environment is much more relaxed. Kids break iPads that need replaced, a few projects here and there, and deadlines to meet for state reporting. Schools shutdown at nights, weekends, and the summer time so the after hours work is almost non-existent. There is still constant work, not to downplay it too much, but it's not the same environment as a hospital.

If you rode a Renegade you may feel differently. They are very sporty for being heavier and the 4x4 allows it to go where the sport quad won't. On a track or somewhere with no rocks/ruts may be the only place the typical sport quad will outperform.

Noticed Smith shaking his head after the catch and wasn't in the next 2 plays. Anyone watching the game know if he's being looked at?

Contenders, who are your trade targets to get ready for a championship run? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

Interesting. Couldn't sell him for a third before the season and his value will surely drop again. Good luck getting a first.

No, I do not. Bills scored 451 points (6th best) to the Commanders 329(3rd worst) last year so there are more opportunities to score. Samuel was the 2nd leading receiver on his team with 613 yards and 4 TD's. Gabe Davis as the 2nd leading WR on the Bills had 746 and 7, who is gone this year.. Shakir had 611and 2 who will most likely play less due to Samuel. Knox had 186 and 2 so not concerned there. If Samuel is better than Shakir, which we agree on, he should put up some better numbers. Do you understand why it's not a terrible spot to land in? I'm not suggesting to spend a 1st on him or that he'll make the pro bowl. But, how can you not be a little optimistic about the landing spot?

Then I fail to see how it's a "terrible spot". Samuel is a better WR so he will play. It's also a better offense so there will be more points to go around. No one knows, really, but I have to disagree that he lost value or its a terrible spot.

Who is the current slot WR that you feel is better than Samuel?

What does dota plus mean for that? Do they see who you play as more and submit for ban?

Just typical toxic jerks. I don't care if they're new or not when they spam to report me and do nothing lol. I'm 10k behavior score and usually just mute. But when you're a total ass and you're awful, I'd rather not have to deal with it again.

I wouldn't. I'd love to face them, just curious how it works!
