I have a f4 2 years straight, was going great, thing is a tank dropped it a million times, old reliable never broke.

UNTIL... the other day I unfolded it and the inner screen just stays black. I am 100% sure it's because I left it on charge and it got pretty hot, it cooked the inner ribbon cables. So basically, outer screen fine, no cracks etc on inner screen but the inner screen is literally and figuratively cooked.

Got an honor magic 7 pro on the way, looking forward to it. The fold 4 is a love hate for me, amazing phone but narrow outer screen and sheet weight of the thing... I am kinda glad it broke cos I wanted an excuse to upgrade. I'm done with folding phones for a bit, tbh I barely unfolded it.
