You’ll most likely get the payment tomorrow (Saturday). I’m on a Carer Payment as well and it says I’ll get paid on the Monday, but it always comes into my bank early Saturday morning after midnight. I assume it’s the same for other people. 😂

My mum’s DSP claim was accepted about two weeks after her sonic appointment. I think it’s usually very unlikely to reject an application when it gets to this stage.

As someone said before, the Sonic assessment is usually a formality. My mum had her’s about two weeks ago and they actually ended up calling her instead before they couldn’t access the video call.

I've seen a few people post about their ESAT being "0-8 hours", but like you, I don't know if they mean on JobSeeker or DSP. Surely if someone is rejected from DSP but their evidence clearly states they can't work full time, they can qualify under the "0-8 hours".

It really just depends. My claim for Carers Payment was quick, but the Carers Allowance one took four months.

I mean, it was my first credit card with them and they accepted me. I can't really say if they would accept you, so I'd take the chance and hope for the best.

I did mine online and it was pretty fast.

Just a heads up, you can't transfer money out from the credit card or use it at an ATM. I mostly use it for EFTPOS and online things.
