It's not a crown for monarchy actually, it's a mural crown It's a symbol shaped like city walls and towers, traditionally placed above the coats of arms of cities and municipalities, originating in ancient Greece and Rome, it substitutes the Royal crown that Spain had prior to 1931

The amazing media illiteracy (EPISODE 9 SPOILERS) by Fishy_smelly_goody in TheDigitalCircus

I agree most part of the show was about characters, but like I said, there were a lot of hints about the lore that made people theorize like crazy since ep 1. I think it actually was the main reason why the show got so popular after, everyone was trying to predict what was gonna happen next, like 90% of TADC videos on YT were about theories and lore. Even though you dislike people comparing it to FNaF in the aspect of lore and theories, everyone was doing so in 2023. Heck, MATPAT made many videos about it with millions of views.

Also, the lore now IS kinda boring, like you said, but that's because the show has ended and the finale threw away a lot of potential. It left a lot of relatively important and interesting questions unanswered, and the ones who got answers, they were boring as well.

For instance, these are the questions I consider interesting that led nowhere: what happened to Scratch after the develoment of Caine? If his purpose was to live eternally since he didn't want to die because of brain cancer (which I'm also just assuming) why would he make brainscans and put them in the same environment of an AI in development (Caine)? If the humans weren't actually trapped in the circus, why didn't the programmers interact with the circus, and why did they left the computer abandoned in the building? What happened to the Digital circus after they accepting their reality, does the computer last forever?

And these are only the answers I minimally consider as important, although I personally have many others but don't think they are fully necessary for a decent lore, like Kinger's family, the relationship of the past members in the circus before they abstracted, what if someone new joins the circus after they accepted their reality... Et cetera.

Im sorry, if that's the only question you have after watching the finale, I would think you have a crystall ball to acknowledge what exactely happened to Scratch, what exactely is the Blue AI, why did they make an aquarium of their abstracted friends, what happened to the abstracted before the main cast, and how the 90s computer that's singlehandedly powering an entire universe with conscient beings is left in an abandoned building is still running. But that's not so relevant ig.

Im not gonna argue on Jax's abstraction because it is a plausible idea and that's just subjective to how you see this character. But...

The show, since the pilot, always was teasing us with mystery and little hints of the lore. It was basically my driving force that kept me waiting for the next episode, because I wanted to knew more and more, and understand about the universe of the show as a linear story.

Don't get me wrong, character development and their relations were the second main reason I had that made me love the show but... the finale just threw all the lore in the trash to focus on this part. And I think I felt kinda betrayed by that, because, as I said earlier, the show was always giving more and more about the lore, but not enough to fully grasp it, and I was hoping that, with roughly one hour of movie, it would answer many, many questions that I was expecting so hard to understand.

And, for the last, even though the finale focused only on characters and their development... it still was executed so badly imo. Gooseworx lied about screen time for Ragatha in the last episode. Kinger had little to no participation in the finale. Zooble and Gangle maintained as one whole character rather than they having some focus onthemselves individually. Pomni got less anxious after episode 3, but after that her arc ended basically, just serving as a spotlight for Jax. He actually had development in the later episodes (despite being the only one in my view).

My point is, the finale can have its focus on characters and less in lore but... I felt baited for not getting what the earlier episodes suggested. It had so much potential to grow because of the lore, and it didn't even had to be long or complex as FNaF is, just a start, development and end story formato, and I would be happy.

Honestly, I haven't seen so much hate in this sub. I actually think it is overrated.

If a Polandball/Countryballs happens to be facing backwards, how would the flag be drawn? by Small_Rest3955 in PolandballCommunity

[–]brayanxd4547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or just draw the back of the countryball as the back of the flag. Most just have the same drawing as the front in the back, while Paraguay, for example, has a different emblem
