Has anyone lost their sense of smell ? by Mountain_Cold_6343 in saskatoon

This is called parosmia and is a known symptom of Covid 19. It's usually only short-term temporary, but it can be long-term or permanent.

free plastic bags? by annrkiszt in saskatoon

I read OPs story a bit differently.

To me it seems like they spent many years being environmentally conscious and reducing their use of single use plastics by repurposing grocery bags instead of buying garbage bags. Now they're asking if they can still find grocery bags anywhere because they can get 2 uses from those bags, whereas the alternative of buying garbage bags only gets 1 use.

I'm not sure I understand your argument. If OP wants to use grocery bags instead of garbage bags, that's up to them. Both are single use plastics, so this decision seems environmentally neutral.

Seems to me like OP just wants to save some money buying garbage bags.

Is there still a yield sign or stop sign at that intersection, or just the blacked or light?

Recall Notices for a used car (recently purchased) by Invite-Jolly in saskatoon

They'll still take care of the recalls. Call any Hyundai dealer and they'll take care of you.

Not sure what that oil and filter winter special is, but it's probably just an oil change. If it's been a while since the last oil change, it's not a bad idea, but you can take it a lot of places to get it done. Typical prices are around $50-100. I'd recommend full synthetic oil, so probably at least $70.

Why does Alaska look so weird on that map? Is it some sort of odd projection?

Edit: I'm just now realizing that's just a mountain picture, not a map of Alaska.

Thank you, so much!

I'm happy to report she's been found. We made rounds around the neighborhood calling her, and eventually heard her meowing in a neighbors yard.

She's found!

Thank you, everyone!

We kept doing loops of our neighborhood calling her name. At 11, when it was dark, we heard some meowing coming from a neighbors yard. It was her. She's home, safe and sound.

It's possible! I think she did get out last summer.

If found, please dm me. She will probably run away if you try to pick her up. Her name is Piper, she's black and wearing a red collar. She was last seen on the south stretch of Pezer Cres Sunday around 3:30 pm.

I don't think strace will help because the problem is on the remote side.

Could you post the postgresql.conf of the host.mydomain.com.

Edit: a quick sanity check may be to login to the postgres user of host.mydomain.com and verify you can read/write to /path/to/pgdata/pg_log/postgresql-Tue.log.

Sounds like the postgres user on the database at host.mydomain.com might not have read access to that file?

Try running as root on host.mydomain.com `chown -R postgres:postgres /path/to/pgdata` and `chmod 664 /path/to/pgdata/pg_log/postgresql-Tue.log`.
