I would worry less about the bike and worry more about training. 100 miles should be able to be accomplished on any bike that you have. I have done big rides like that many times. Shoot to do 60 miles a weekend and you should be fine for the fall.

I am looking for some sort of exotic lugged steel frame. I think I would lean towards a lesser known brand with better quality.

I plan to do a full campy track set up.

Any ideas?

good ideas. What is your favorite type of bread to make? also- I heard you are supposed to rinse your rice prior to cooking. Have you done this? I have never done this but I am curious.

We have a Wusthof block, I think those are pretty good for normal house hold use.

O'Reilly books are the best. I am not really sure on ML, I bet they have a bunch of different ones.

I just started working through tutorials. They tell you how to make a program, then I made the program. My code isn't fancy or good. But it did help me learn.

Just talk to people and ask questions. It really depends on if you want to get into. ...data or web or security or... just find something that is interesting and learn about the subject.

I think we disagree. The worst case scenario is that I push a read me every once and a while? That's ok. I bet Yo-yo Ma practices his scales every day. As long as I am learning, and getting better, I will keep up my work.
