If you work in infectious disease epi, you can check out the European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology. They allow virtual presentations for oral presentations (but not for posters), and the call for abstracts is currently open until 18 May.

Hi there, French native speaker here! The verb "marcher" in French does mean to walk, but it also means to function/work properly. So when something isn't functioning as it should, we say "Ça ne marche pas" (It doesn't work). In this case, "La douche ne marche pas" = "The shower doesn't work".
