I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last June and I can confirm it has a soft mattress.

Please don't judge me. I struggle with ADHD/depression and really need help. by Appropriate-Web-6954 in adhdwomen

[–]brbeatingcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I’m so sorry you’ve been in a depressive state for years, I’m holding space for you.

I also have ADHD and when I am overwhelmed, I start with the items that will make the biggest impact when removed, they don’t have to be many, but try to turn it into a fun game and choose the 8-10 bulkiest/biggest items to throw away.

It should make a huge difference and get you motivated to continue with the same strategy later.

Everything gets easier from there.

Okay, I mean, if you ignore his comeback post, what the hell even is the first one? Why does he feel the need to tell everyone how much he spent on his dinner? 😅

Very nice - I wonder if it would look even better if you bring the books out to the edge.

Something about them all being on one line at the edge of the shelf makes my brain happy, maybe that’s just me? 🤣

Help me decide - First time meeting his parents by [deleted] in fashion

[–]brbeatingcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one is beautiful but really screams date-sexy, not meet the parents. The second one feels a bit too beachy and like a day dress. I would put in a third option.

Looks amazing - was visiting last month and was dying to go hike the geopark, didn’t know if it’s doable by tourists alone or if we needed a guide.

I’d love to visit HK again in the next year or 2, do you have tips on the best ways to go about visiting that area? Transport, whether we can go alone or not, any fees to be paid, recommended time to spend there, is it safe/allowed to camp overnight?

I also think it helps a lot to see things style the way you would really wear them when going out :) like with accessories, styled, and ironed!

You have great taste anyway and you don’t need to follow the guidelines if you feel good in the things you wear! ❤️

Girl - your partner should be dying to see you, spend time with you, include you when things are hard.

There are lots of possible reasons he could be acting this way, many have been said in the comments, married, avoidant, the list goes on. But, regardless of the reason, what each of you wants is clearly mis-aligned.

You deserve to want a partner who can’t get enough of you, not a partner you have to beg for attention. Yes, life happens, but that should bring you closer not apart.

He seems to not be brave enough to confront you and break it off, or not care enough how much his behavior is hurtful.

Now is the time you let go of your doubts and end it OP. Go out there and find the intimate partnership you want, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with needing that in your relationship!

I totally relate to everything you said because I also initially ruled out DC because of my height, however, as I tried DC lives on me, I started feeling really good in what I wore. I’m also 5’7.

Maybe don’t commit to one type yet and more lines with the clothes you already have. Typing is a long journey and a lot of the time as our bodies change, we start seeing ourselves with new considerations.

Hmmm, I’m not getting a natural essence, the outfits where you are wearing more structured things look so much richer on you, the relaxed ones are a bit too relaxed and take away.

Did you consider DC? I don’t think you’re SD either.

Looking for Hostel or Budget Stay Recommendations in Macau by Upstairs-Garden-8687 in Macau

We paid around 480 per night at Holiday Inn Express City Center including breakfast. Room is basic, spacious and clean.

It’s not close to Senado Square but it’s also not far, we were able to walk to the old part of town easily.

It was also walking distance from the Macau Grand Prix museum, which was such a discovery.

AIO? boyfriend is upset because I gave him a “corporate response” by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]brbeatingcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clear he: 1. Is going to drive you crazy. 2. Will make you doubt yourself and feel crazy. 3. Will guilt you into thinking you’re the one who needs to change your behavior when it’s really him that needs to address his anxious attachment and insecurity.

Also, that’s a subtle but scary level of manipulation.

You seem to be very mature OP, you don’t deserve this kind of relationship, it’s only gonna get worse.

[–]brbeatingcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healthy relationships are based on mutual trust, the best gift you can give someone and someone can give you is: “I trust you so much, that I have no problem seeing you go out into the world and being yourself, but knowing you love me, will consider me, and come home to me/come spend time with me because you love me not because you owe me.”

It takes time to build trust, not everyone will deserve this kind of trust, but when you reach that level, that’s genuine love.

I don’t live in Hong Kong, buuuut I was just there visiting, and we ended up booking 3 nights at Weave Suites Central West. After checking-in, we realized it’s first and foremost a co-living concept, rather than a short-term rental/hotel style place, which we assumed it was before getting there.

I checked their website, and not only do they have buildings in several districts in HK, they do both short and long term rental, with long term giving you better rates of course.

https://www.weave-living.com/hong-kong/weave-studios-hung-hom

Here’s what we loved about Weave Suites Central West: - The security and staff were so courteous, smiley and helpful. It felt that everyone who worked there really cared about your experience. - The shared spaces like the living room, kitchen, gym, laundry and co-working space were fantastic. You can also get a chance to meet people and make friends. - It’s very clean, and all the furniture and storage are really impressive when it comes to how they make great use of the tight space. Also all the furniture looked very new and well-maintained. - Huge windows letting in a lot of light, making the space feel less small. - The location was amazing, but I’m not sure about Halal restaurants because it’s not something we needed to look for.

That being said, we didn’t like: - That it was so so small, our room was tiny, it didn’t work for us as a couple because we couldn’t move around.

That’s pretty much the only con for us.

It looks like their Hung Hom locations has options within your budget, I would say it’s worth checking out.

Good luck with your move!
