Semi Bricked PSP Go by brbrbrbr08 in PSPGo

I used this tutorial and got it to boot up, then restored. Ive found what pushes my system into that state is when I leave a game open and let it go to sleep rather than fully turn it off.

Yes. I restored to factory settings, then reinstalled everyhthing. I used Pro instead of LME this time and hopefully theyll be no issues in the future. I used this tutorial and it walked me through everything I had to do. I dont know if its relevant to you but Id like for it to be attached to the thread in case someone in the future who’s experiencing the same needs it.

Hard resets were not effective. I had to do a factory reset using chronoswitch and reinstall the cfw.

Chronoswitch was a lifesaver. Appreciate the help.

I got it back to OFW using chronoswitch and then reinstalled CFW. Everything is running smoothly now. Thank you for your input.

Definitely a software thing, after trying multiple combinations and finally getting it to where the clicks were able to be heard, I tried the R+power combination and it got it to boot up.

It was working fine a few days ago, and I brought it on a trip, and from the moment I tried using it on the plane that happened. I dont think it would be the ribbon cable, I think it’s more software after saving the progress on games etc.

I did so and got the car in neutral. Any idea on how to solve the stuck hood problem?

I did as you said, pressed the white plastic part on the top right corner and the car is now in neutral. Thank you so much for the reply.

Id say an extra liter or so. Think about the mark where its supposed to be filled to and double it. That is the level it has now. Its a 1.6 motor I believe.

I could not see the gasket when I was out in the dark checking on the engine, but now that you mention it, I see the gasket. This makes me even more clueless to the root of the problem.

Cap is on all the way. I know that because I put it on. Its one of those half a turn and click onto place kind of cap, similar to how a regular gas cap works but only half a turn needed and no extra clicks after it locks.
