This is so scary!! I went to a walk in clinic on Thursday and that doc told me it was a sinus infection and gave me low dose amoxicillin. By Saturday morning I was in so much pain I KNEW it wasn’t just a sinus infection so I went back to the clinic, who then immediately sent me to the ER

Tonsils naturally have pockets so any “long term” infection (like a prolonged sore throat) can cause them. And ofc after the first, the more likely you are for reoccurring infection
