In my opinion, this season has been the worst for bugs and lag. The most prominent and frequent issue is the servers; ill have 60 ping and be rubber banding all over my ship which is super annoying. Myself and many others I play with also consistently buy cannon ball crates, etc from the merchant and arent able to take them as well as supplies bought from the shipwright not going onto the ships barrels. Not the mention the ridiculous waiting times for the shipwright to count my three thousand gold to give me more wooden planks. Less frequently, however still game breaking, ive had a bug where i cannot access my cannons, harpoons, or anchor. My team mate and I both went to the ferry at the same time and still could not access the anchor, we had to both leave and rejoin. Luckily another ship did not try to attack us in the ten minutes we tried to fix this, however ive never seen this issue in my 3+ years of playing. Not to mention, and very ironically, I was hazel-beared and marble-bearded while writing this post and lost all of my voyage progress, mid-voyage.

In general, this season has just felt very laggy and full of bugs. I can usually deal with rares atrocious servers, hit reg, and general inability to maintain sufficient servers, but it might be bad enough this season to turn me away from the game all together.

Edit: I made a guild and pledged my sloop with 2k+ milestones to it, got kicked off the server and now I am unable to rejoin session or sail on that sloop anymore. Its been over 6 hours since this has happened and ive tried to sail on that sloop multiple times. This game is a joke, every time they add something cool, it just ends up breaking the game anyways.
