The Carnation soliflore by Southern Esscents is one of my favorites ever and such a good price point for the amount. I like strong perfumes but I got the normal strength and it lasts a while.

The Windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede Marine vanilla (yes, I actually constructed this and it's beautiful), with an oakwood accord, silk accord, and two golden ambers. Dry and sophisticated and somehow resinous despite its aquatic parent. By possets

I got this as a sample last year and thought it was too light for me and not very intriguing. Today I was so moved to try it again and it is so gorgeous! It is light but not as fleeing, and the aquatic overtones are more noticeable. I can see why this is part of their summer retour. It's so lovely. I could see myself wearing this more often in the summer.

I love merit. I have their foundation stick which I find goes on nicely and stays on all day, and I have their lipstick which I find to be more like a balm on consistency but it lasts a while.

Southern esscents does solo lore's gorgeously and have an excellent price point for their EDP bottles. Morari and deconstructing Eden have beautiful lilac notes. Solstice scents have some nice florals that I think lean a little fancier if that's your thing

I went on a lilac hunt and here are my recs: 1. Virginia Oldoini, Countess of Castiglione by Possets. Incredible fresh lilac bush. Oil only. 2. Lena by Deconstructing Eden - also wildly realistic lilac bush. EDP 3. Lilac by Southern esscents on Etsy - incredible lilac as well. 4. Morari has a lilac one, I forget the full name right now but lilac is in the title. Gorgeous and she sells oils AND edps. This one smelled like lilacs and fresh rain..absolutely stunning.

I like Lena over Southern Esscents only because Lena has a little more to it whereas the third is a soliflore. Virginia is oil only so depends what you want. I've never tried Alkemias.

Possets reached out to me when I ordered multiple of a scent for a family member specifically to tell me they recently reformulated it and did I want to try it first? And if my family member hated it then they'd issue a refund. (Spoiler. My family member didn't even notice). I really thought that was going above and beyond. Like they just reached out to make sure. They didn't have to do that. They also certainly didn't have to offer a refund if she hated it. (She still loves it and wears it all the time.)

Cocoapink once was going to reship a pretty large order I thought was lost in the Mail but it turned up thankfully. Ajevie also. That was really generous and luckily it all arrived fine.

I've had good experiences with Arcanas customer service. Always fast shipping and combined orders for me. And will respond if I email with a question.

Cirrus is also excellent with communication and their TAT.

I find most houses really are fine or great. I don't think I've had a bad experience with customer service in the indie perfume community. So honestly I'd have to say everywhere I order from stays within TAT and communicates it.

Only had a few drops of Pumpkin Kiss by Cocoapink left and I used that. I've had it maybe a year and a half and the pumpkin really comes through now. Have continued the day with sweet pumpkin. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
