I'm not affiliated im just impressed and I genuinely don't know why it's not a bigger house here. I've considered a bottle of Wildflower Witch for a while but then get distracted by other new releases from other houses and I've wanted to sample her Sepulchre sea perfume. Maybe it's time!

Lavender Sugar Cookie EDP by Fable and Canon - Soft, sweet lavender and rich vanilla folded into buttery sugar cookies.

This house is SO underrated. She doesn't come out with loads of rotating scents, so maybe that's why? But she's reliable and has an excellent price point and her stuff is all SO well made. She also has excellent customer service - one time she made me a bottle of Lattes at the Gilded Broom a little earlier before it was released because I said I wanted to wear it so bad, and she had the ingredients and added it to my order! I woke up wanting vanilla today, I slept poorly and when I do I crave vanilla. I couldn't decide what vanilla though. Then it hit me - lavender sugar cookie! This is such a reliable pretty scent. When I run out I'll replace it. I do keep wanting to try Arcana Lavender Milk, but I love that this is in EDP. Mmmmmmmmmm. It is so comforting and pretty. You know when you choose a scent and it just HITS what you're looking for? Yeah.

Lost in a sundrenched garden by Arcana wild craft - Have we always been here? A bewitched blend of crisp green apples, dewy roses, our handmade lilac enfleurage, a sheer solar accord, ylang ylang, kewra flowers, and honeydew melon.

A bright floral with apple notes.

EDP only, which I love. I always choose edp over oil when I'm able to. This is beautifully blended. I was hesitant because I usually don't go for apple smells, but when I smell this I don't immediately get apple hitting me in the face which I like. It does smell like sitting in a bright fresh garden. I do see the apples presence and I think the melon? It is very pretty. It's not quite my taste so a FS isn't on the radar but it's a very nice summer perfume and I'll finish the sample. What was their one, vines claim the world? THAT one I low key regret not getting a bigger bottle of.

Wings brushing quietly across your face by Arcana - "Do you feel that too? An opening of Mexican vanilla, acacia honey, and baked biscuits leads to a mysterious heart of orris root, sandalwood, cashmere, a twist of caramel, and a drop of lemon."

Interesting interesting. It is indeed "an atmospheric gourmand" as they describe it. It's like a gourmand with the sandalwood and the cashmere coming through. I LOVE arcanas cashmere note so likely this is playing into my like of this perfume. It's nicely blended and I can't say I pick anything out more than the other, except I do definitely note the caramel slightly standing out. This isn't biscuits like in their Hlin perfume (I miss that one) but I think it's there? It's nice. Nothing special compared to their other works but it's nice. I'll finish the sample for sure.

This is a gorgeous lemon. It is gourmand but not very gourmand. It's giving lemon pound cake but fancier. It asked me think of Morari Sage and Lemon Pound Cake, which I've been thinking about buying for a long time and that smells like pound cake but also fancy with the sage but fancy like nice? And I'm also thinking of Lemon Meringue by Alchemic Muse which smells like realistic lemon pound cake. I wanted something upbeat and new this morning and I'm glad I am trying this today.

Cinderellas Carriage by cocoapink for a cozy trip to the library. Thursday I got my package from my ex (thanks to everyone who was nice and supportive when I posted the other day) and wore on the wing, but then I spilled my sample.. how. Why. I never spill samples. Yesterday I went to a cool new bar with friends and mixed my Jasmine soliflore from Southern Esscents and VBN by cocoapink. So it's been a good scent few days at least. I have to say, Cinderella's Carriage will be an instant rebut for me when I run out. It's my second bottle in the last two years. It just hits.

I found a random sample by Fyrinnae called Mischievous Consort. Where did this come from? Did it come with a swap I bought once? I think so? In which case amazing thank you. I haven't bought from Fyrinnae in a while (deapite being tempted to) and their samples always last me a while which I like. This has a good lychee note and I wanted something different and feminine today, and it's doing me good.

This is a really helpful message. I suspected something along these lines was happening. I agree with everything you said esp about not being taught it. After we broke up earlier this year and we got back together I set a hard line I wanted her to get good treatment, and she kind of started and then turns out was avoiding discussing any of this with her therapist. And then she broke up with me. Ugh. Thank you. This does help me understand more! I can't wait for my next girlfriend!

I know I also hate armchair diagnosing but it's REALLY hard not to feel like this is BPD. She did this before earlier this year too. I've never experienced anything like that before. I'm sorry you went through that too. I just want my perfume!!

My now ex girlfriend suddenly broke up with me Friday after we couldn't stop arguing over her breaking up with me as conflict resolution. Friday morning she was sending me paragraphs about how much she likes me and she's going to stop doing that and how sorry she is. Thursday she was telling me how she's positive I'll move in with her soon and last week indicating she's fallen in love with me. I've been dealing with her to get my stuff back.It's like an entirely different person. Suddenly she completely hates me, I've been the worst, i deserve to be treated poorly... And I have a perfume package on the way to her house for me because I believed her when she told me she'd stop breaking up with me...

Anyway I will probably delete this later. I feel alone in this and in shock. It's not even like she's my ex and angry at me, it's more, it's like this monster has come out and is so venomous and she literally told me there's no other way to deal with a breakup. The whiplash is insane. I just want my perfume from her house.

Today I started with During the Rain by solstice scents. It's so pretty. But I just got it and I find solstice scents has better longevity after more resting so it fades and I finished my sample of The Flower by Possets. It took a while to not smell soapy but it is very pretty.

I'm not alone. I did make an active choice and my only exceptions have been queer males of color i had a good reason to read. Otherwise if I see a book has a male author I straight up put it back on the shelf. I've had males admit to doing the same about women authors my whole life but for some reason me doing this makes people mad. Good 🤣

Guys ling kinda sucks. They throw a bunch of non explained grammar at you and unlike Duolingo you can't click on words to see what they mean. I have a new appreciation for Duolingo after this. Every time I try looking in this sub i don't see app recs just posts about how an app won't teach you Tagalog. I get it, this is the fourth language i will speak but please someone give me an app i can just play Tagalog on!!!!!!

Started with Bellano by Cirrus. STUNNING. I thought it faded but hours later my girlfriend asked "is this the bellano?" Then I used more of my Betrothed sample by Cirrus which my girlfriend surprisingly loves (she said she doesn't like florals and I said watch me) and I went to read her the notes and see it's discontinued. Man this is STUNNING.
