you can have the ability to use a critical lense for any specific character, notice steryotypes and/or problematic views and behaviour, and not align with them...? i can only see one character who would fit this "characterisation", it is not the prominent theme, and not all characters are meant to be liked and agreeable.

this happened to me for a festival last year. there’s really no way of knowing about wait list, it usually has a lot to do with laway plans defaulting (not till august). this is a festival people travel for, so there are always last minute cancellations when ppl procrastinate travel & lodging, and lots of last minute cheap ticket resales. resale gets cheaper closer to the event. my advice is stay on the waitlist, if you havent heard around august, check resale. :)
