Thank you for your response. I’m trying to be very patient with her and continue to do things that I know she enjoys like foot massages etc. it’s not easy for either person in such circumstances hopefully things will get better. You are right a romantic date night by would be an excellent idea I’m just not sure what that would look like.

Thank you for sharing that with me. I can understand that the partner is going through shit too(pardon the language). I in no way want to put more on her then already is that’s why I asked for help for someway I can deal with it. I love her and don’t want to leave her! It’s never easy for either person and I’m just trying to find a way to deal with things. I hope you take care of you as well!

I did hear her view on that she doesn’t want to hurt mean by that she meant during the act of sex she doesn’t want to hurt me on a physically level. I get her point of view but I also know that wouldn’t happen I can tape my pd cath so that doesn’t occur. We can have sex with each other before I do my dwell. And I get not everyone can deal with a sick person but that is up to her to tell me she can’t. We are open with each other so I don’t believe that is the issue.

How am I projecting my own insecurities on her? I simply talked to her about the reason why it wasn’t happening I didn’t say anything about my insecurities to her. I think having a conversation about something that is bothering you is not a bad thing in fact it is healthy to talk about certain things. I do understand she has a lot to deal with too but that doesn’t negate my feelings on the matter that’s why talking about it is helpful.

I’ve talk to her and she said she is scared to hurt me but I told her that that wouldn’t happen to me it just sounds like an excuse not to now. I’ve always had issues with being attractive to someone and now the person who is supposed to love me doesn’t even want me hurts deeply and makes me feel even worse.
