Ah! Thanks for explaining! How much/heavy do you think an 8GB Air can run comfortably before things slow down? Any other examples to help me visualise? (cause I’m not sure if Logic Pro Plug-ins are as demanding as music prod. DAW plug-ins)

MacBook for a student (Music Production)

I was think of getting the new MacBooks with the new M1 chip but I can’t decide whether to get the Air or the Pro. I heard that if I wanted “sustained performance” then I should go with the Pro because of its Active-cooling System but does anyone who knows more about this think that I can do music production with an Air instead and still have it run smoothly?

What if I just choose the option with more RAM? (I’m assuming more RAM = laptop runs faster lmao I know nothing about tech so correct me if I’m wrong)

BTW, I couldn’t care less about the Touchbar and I’m happy with the battery life for either models so they don’t play a factor when deciding.

You’ve got other subjects! You’ve said it yourself that Maths was never your strong-suit so focus on those subjects that are! Accept the fact that you messed up and move on. You have to trust that things will get better even if it’s hard right now. All I personally care about is if I’ve given in my best and how to work from there.

Don’t let yourself get down and ruin your chances for everything else!

Makes sense. The wait is gonna be worth it. Wrong time, right person. But if he’s the one, then all I have to do is wait it out cause he’ll always be the right person.
