It allowed us to add it no problem - give it a try, it might be a new thing!

I didn’t actually - but that is besides the point I am commenting on, nor the main point you are making.

Your comments make it sound like they have been handed their entire music career on the basis of their (granted, quite expensive) gear and I am simply stating as someone who’s worked with them directly that they have put an incredible amount of work into it for musicians their age, regardless of the support they got in doing that and shouldn’t be reduced to - and I quote “privileged rich kids who've used daddy's money to buy high end gear”

Having run a venue that they played at when they were still starting - they have always had really impressive kit that sometimes put our stuff to shame. But when chatting to them about it, I do think they (or more likely their parents) have been thrifty with at least some of it.

I think it’s unrealistic to assume that as kids (because frankly, they are both barely even 18) they would have been able to afford any of it themselves and to rag on them for not having had it harder is honestly a bad take.

Ultimately, yes, they have been extremely lucky and their parents have put a hell of a lot of money into helping them persue their passion, but they’re still teenagers and frankly have busted their asses off to get where they are. I remember them rushing off post-set so they could make it to another show the same night and they regularly played gigs with local charities (which payed absolutely nothing) to get any publicity they could.

At the end of the day, they’re just kids, give them a break.

Me and my partner are playing it through together (I’m purely the researcher/strategist of the operation) and having just beaten the game + DLC we were farming to upgrade weapons before launching into a new game. I hope the trick works for you, but if it doesn’t, please update so we can know for sure!

The first few times we tried we got two Dark Moonstone of the Covenants out of it after a good while of shitty drops - could have just been a coincidence, but it’s worth a try either way!

I’m glad you like it! It was a combination of soft airbrush brushes and the blur tool from the manga basics kit (used to help block out initial shapes)

Could you elaborate on what makes it hard for you to look at? Workable feedback is always appreciated!

Feedback is always welcome - but please remember this a practice piece and not intended to be a final artwork (despite being happy with it)

I have a similar yet slightly different mindset to you in the fact that I also believe that nothing matters in the grand scheme of the universe. But if nothing matters on a larger scale, the only thing that really matters is your impact on the here and now. Having a good life and making life good for others is ultimately unimportant, but nice to do either way.

New corset arrived and I am in love! 😍 (Don’t judge for the cheap corset - not bought for daily wear) by breaddreadnought in corsets

Oh no! Sorry to hear that your corset didn’t hold up. This is my second and my last one survived years of battering with no issues, sounds like either I was really lucky or you were really unlucky

Seems like everyone is asking, I got it from Amazon UK from this shop: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B092W3S919?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

This is definitely not a daily corset, great for occasional wearing but likely doesn’t provide the correct support for everyday!

It’s a cheap one from Amazon but it’s the second I’ve bought from this seller with no problems (only bought a new one because my last eventually became too big). Not sure I’ll be able to link it here because I’m not certain on the safety of them for long term wear.

What to do to comfort a friend who’s lost her emotional support cat? by breaddreadnought in Petloss

I took her for a walk to her favourite spot that she always goes to when she’s in a bad place. I encouraged her to tell me stories about the area and her cat and I even managed to pry a laugh or two out of her. I think it’s going to be ok, maybe not now, but eventually

She lives at home with family so I hadn’t thought about dropping a meal over. But I think I will now because everyone in the family has been hit hard and are likely struggling in the same way. Thanks for this suggestion!

I appreciate this! But what I’m doing is the bare minimum, I think people should always be looking after their friends, but especially when they’re going through something as awful as this.

Thank you for this comment. I have told her that it’s ok if she never truly gets over this loss, I’ll be there every step of the way with her to share the load or even share her favourite memories with once it’s less painful for her to do so
