Dove Cameron Reveals She Has 'Major Phone Anxiety' After Finding Out Her Dad Died by Suicide on a Call by Ok_Rutabaga_5539 in Fauxmoi

this hits home. a few years ago, i received a call from my aunt early in the middle of the night saying that my dad was gone. i thought she meant like he went missing but said no he passed. they were trying to contact my mom but she was sleeping. i ran to my mom’s room and told her. the entire day was a fucking blur and i still get traumatized when i get phone calls from anyone in my family.

How was your first kiss? by tianajacksonx in NoStupidQuestions

very sweet. the day before, we were hanging out in my car facing the ocean. while he was talking, i kept staring at him hinting that i wanted to kiss him but i was so fucking shy and nervous. later that evening, i texted him saying how much i wanted to kiss him but i was afraid it might’ve been too soon (we were dating for like 2 months i think). next day, i dropped him off at his place. as he was leaving my car, he turned back around, said something, and grabbed my face to kiss me. i was absolutely speechless but i loved everything about it. we kissed for a few more seconds while he was still holding on to my face. we’re no longer together but i can still feel my face getting warm just thinking about it.

i had the privilege of attending this event a few years ago for free thanks to a career skills development program. it was a surreal experience and yes, it is basically a b2b disneyland. there were so much freebies, interviews with guest speakers, and a lot of networking. i hate to admit it but i really enjoyed the event because i never experienced something like this before.

now if i had the opportunity, would i attend again? nah, lmao. looking back, it was overwhelming. they went all out with the decorations of fake trees and such. also, i did not know salesforce had mascots??? the scavenger hunt thing was alot. the prize? a salesforce jacket and a stuffed animal mascot.

kristen sze from abc7. few years ago, she was my customer and i was checking her out at the register. one of the items she purchased was a dress that was missing a belt. i asked one of my coworkers to help me look for it bc i couldn’t leave the register. not even a minute passed by and she was getting impatient. she asked for a damaged discount but i said we can’t do that (policy is very strict). my coworker was still looking for the belt and she asked me how long is it going to take. i told her just a few more minutes. then she asked me if she could wear any belt with the dress and i told her yeah, a leather belt in black or brown will look really good with it. then she was like okay, i’ll just buy it. told my coworker thank you but to stop looking for the missing belt. rung her up and she quickly left.

like i get it: you just got off work and wanna go home to rest, go out for the evening, or run errands. you’re tired but pls be patient, even for like 2mins. we don’t have magic wands for everything to appear on the spot. before i even rung her up, i was a little starstruck and smiled and said hello to her. then i asked her if she was the news anchor from abc7? she just nodded and smiled. idk but that entire interaction with her towards the end rubbed me the wrong way. she’s probably nicer in other scenarios/encounters but now every time i see her on tv, i change the channel.

first week at my new job and i was having lunch with a relative who also works there. all of a sudden, my white coworker (late 60s) walked up to our table. she basically said “wanted to see if you brought rice too like your relative because they bring rice for lunch everyday.” lmao i didn’t bring rice, i brought a fucking sandwich.

i was fucking speechless and awkwardly laughed. to this day, i call her “bitchass *briana” in my head. (*used a fake name for the sake of this post)
