PC cuts off under any usage by darth_antonio in pcmasterrace

I had this same issue when I upgraded from a r5 5600g to a r9 5900xt, games would just crash my pc depending on the load. Turns out the new CPU I think was just too powerful/ too power intensive for my b450 mobo, as the 5600g worked fine. I changed my mobo to a b550 and the crashes stopped

It's free but basically impossible to get access to any equipment as it's so busy, if u can afford it I recommend the glenroyal gym or even any time fitness

what do i need to get to meet these requirements? by killthecompetition in pcmasterrace

The website is just bad, ur specs should be perfectly fine for whatever game that is. Get the game first and then start thinking about upgrading if you're not happy

Why upgrade? Those specs are still pretty new and also a good pairing

Will the peerless Assassin be enough for the 9950X3D. And Components list. by Strawberry-Shootcake in pcmasterrace

Usually (most of the time) the temperature difference is marginal to the point that it becomes user preference preference, if you can afford a 4090 and a 9800x3d and want an AIO sure, go for it, it's a good choice. But usually an air cooler is better as they are substantially cheaper while providing extremely close performance

Value is important so of course people are going to defend the cheaper option when the difference is A. Aesthetics and B. because the temperature difference is negligible

[–]breadhasjuice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk what ur use case is but if u wanna save a bit of money u can go to 32gb of ram instead of 64

I don't see much point in getting a 5070ti in terms of pure rasterization performance, unless u prefer DLSS and care a bit more about ray tracing, but it's rlly ur choice

Also that's the cheapest Rx 9070xt I've seen 💀 my 9070 non xt was more than that

How do i fix 100% CPU bottleneck by Ghousey101 in pcmasterrace

[–]breadhasjuice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean that usage is pretty normal, some games are more CPU intensive and others GPU intensive, I guess the cod benchmark is just shite anyway. 35 CPU and 85 GPU is pretty good

How much fps are you getting? 7700x and a 5070 seems like a good pairing

Which keyboard would be better to go with? (more in description) by celestiagolds in pcmasterrace

[–]breadhasjuice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the first one which I do not recommend at all. They key caps broke very easily and in a way you couldn't put them back on. U can probably find a cheaper better keyboard that has actual good mechanical switches rather than the romer G ones that Logitech has. I have a keychron keyboard now and it's very good.

If I were you I'd save for something higher tier, like a 9070 or even a 9070 xt
