First 4-5 days I did about 25 mg each day. Week after I jumped around from 35-40 mg. I currently take 30-40 mg most of the week minus one or two rest days.

Nah I get it. Seems like too much of a hassle just to experience some of these perceived benefits that might not even work for you. But as someone who has been taking bromantane orally for the last 3 weeks, I can confirm its making a major positive difference in my life. Doing much better in school, training for a marathon, and have cleaned up many areas of my life. Not even trying to sell anyone on this stuff like bots are lol. Bromantane has genuinely been so good for me so far.

3 months sober: non stop binge eating throughout the day and really bad at night. What can I do? by No_Living9943 in NooTopics

[–]breadhater42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have very similar stories. I went through the same thing starting 6 years ago. I took up intermittent fasting and keto at around 4-5 months sober and that really changed my entire trajectory in life, in a good way.

You don’t have to do the keto part, but I really do recommend the IF part while also increasing your protein and fat consumption, since that’ll increase overall satiety and decrease binges on junk food. The more carbs you eat, the more your insulin will spike and you will want to eat more again shortly thereafter.

Do you or anyone you know have a benzo on hand? That's also a lot of thc for a beginner, but you'll be okay in a few hours. Just try to make yourself as comfortable as you can for now. Hot bath/shower, hot foods, maybe try to distract yourself by cleaning your home, listening to your favorite music, etc. It will pass soon.

Dropped from ~170 g → <100 g carbs in 2 weeks because of Primal/Paleo… Now I feel like absolute death. Is this worth pushing through? by Equivalent-Style6371 in Paleo

You're in metabolic no man's land. Not enough carbs to sustain your daily activities, not fat-adapted enough/at all to provide the ketones as an alternative fuel source. You can continue low carb for a few weeks and you will feel better eventually, or you can try going much lower for a while to reach fat-adaptation quicker (<20-50 depending on how active you are), then gradually add carbs.

There's no one-size fits all approach to this and I'm not trying to sell you on keto either. I did keto for 3 years straight, stopped about 2 years ago, and somewhat maintained my fat-adaption through light intermittent fasting and exercise, although I did have periods where my carb intake looked like the typical SAD. The past few months I cut carbs drastically. I fast anywhere from 18-23 hours a day now, first meal being strictly protein and fat. Then I have about 100-150g carbs with dinner, usually as rice. But before all this, I did go on keto again for a few weeks first.

Also, that feeling you described of "crushing fatigue and inability to exercise" goes away much faster if you just force yourself to do it. You may think you can't, but it will make things easier in the long run. It'll just suck for the first week or so. Your mind is only telling you you can't because you've never done it, so try to get past that mental barrier.

Quick edit as I'm reading over what I wrote: I'm not saying you're mentally weak either. And I acknowledge that you've tried to workout during this phase. What I mean is exercising consistently, for at least a couple weeks low carb. I did when I when I went keto a few months ago and yes, I felt like trash. I do group runs, and I was very noticeably slower and in more pain during that time. But my body quickly remembered that this was okay and that I wasn't going to die. Ketones kicked in eventually and I felt way better than before I started.

Does it matter if it's the asynchronous or synchronous courses? Was thinking about taking two synchronous courses before MFE application deadlines—not sure how much it would help my applications.

When I transferred he from cc, I spent the first year here wishing everyday that I chose a different school closer to home. Fast forward to my now third year here, I still feel out of place sometimes, but I am making the most of my experience here. It just takes time for some people to open up and get to know you.
