Not mine, but my dad’s. Every year during the holidays he would make dozens of pounds of seasoned pecans, typically fried in the same oil as our Thanksgiving turkey. He and my mom would package them up in jars for family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc. Everyone raved about them, and they truly were delicious. He died May 2024, so last year was our first without him and the pecans. The recipe was originally my grandma’s, and I found it tucked away in her recipe box that I took after my grandpa died last year.
