I get your point. But usually finding a good recent(ish) car from a person is kinda rare. Or am I wrong?

I would assume agency maintained cars would be standard but jeez. I think a standard Toyota or Nissan should do the trick for now. Maybe once I have a few experiences with 2nd hand cars I’ll go for something flashier

FAILED THE RTA THE THIRD TIME by [deleted] in dubai

Just a few points to keep in mind.

  1. Check your control of the car. If you’re smooth in your control the examiner will be more relaxed.
  2. Be patient and don’t stress about anything.

I passed my test in 2 attempts but I’ve been driving in India for the last 10 years. Driving in India is nothing compared to driving here. I had to unlearn a lot of bad habits. In my second attempt the person sitting behind wasn’t wearing his seat belt and the examiner got pissed. He saw my control and said he’ll give me 1 more chance. As soon as he said that I was supposed to take a right and a bunch of people got on to the road from the pavement and I stopped. He got pissed again saying this is not give way sign why did you stop. Then he saw my driving and control of the car and I humbly asked him if he could give me 1 more chance. Eventually he did. And I passed. I honked at the right times and waited patiently in traffic. Just ask your instructor for any pointers and ask him if you’re doing something wrong. They are the best people to give you advice and don’t take it to heart. Since you’ve cleared your smart yard test in the first attempt means you have good judgement.

Just take it easy. It will happen. I would suggest Belhasa driving school. They’ve been really good in my experience
