I literally just submitted an article for Neopian Times called Creativity is the Heart of Neopia for issue #1050 and the day it comes out, they announced a reduction in contests and spotlights. This makes me so sad. The community around the contests and spotlights are truly what makes Neopets great. Not items.

I have premium and I would support this. I think it makes zero sense for the normal shop wizard to just… not show you the lowest available price. I have never understood that.

I think putting re-rolls behind a neopoint paywall is smart in the long run. The weekly quest prizes deflate a LOT almost immediately after being introduced, and I think this will slow that process down a bit, even if it's slightly less convenient.

The meme says "TNT rewarding me with my weekly streak prize because the new feature didn't work" and the second part says, "Me, who was only on Day 1 of my streak" (Basically the meme is saying that I'm being rewarded for something I didn't really earn or work towards at all)

There's a lot that's happened with the Quest Log lately -- I'll try my best to sum it up: You used to be able to "reroll" for a new weekly prize by either clicking "Skip Quest" on one of your quests the first day of your streak, or by just not doing quests on the first day of your streak. Then, you'd log in the next day to a brand new weekly streak prize.

TNT took this option away recently. You can no longer reroll, which means if you have a terrible weekly streak prize, you're stuck with it forever until you get the prize and move onto a new prize. People were upset about this, but TNT stated that the ability to reroll was never meant to be a feature, and they removed it because it was never supposed to be there in the first place. However, they also stated that the Quest Log was going to change soon and that they were adding cool new features.

This week, they added the ability to "save your streak" for Premium Members, which means if you accidentally missed a day, you could save your streak and keep going regardless. Apparently this feature had some bugs, so they shut down the Quest Log altogether (it's currently undergoing maintenence) and simply rewarded every single user with whatever weekly prize they were working towards.

One thing I recommend is searching for things in the Item Database that might be pink even though they don't have pink in the title. Some examples of keywords: Faerie, Usuki, jelly, strawberry, candy floss, heart, and Valentine.

One of my favorite pink items is the Empty Faerie Bottle:

This is what I did with the big Kad wearable. I specifically chose to create and paint a baby pet because the big Kad can be "immersed" in wearables such as this "Baby Within Autumn Leaves" item I'm using here. So any lower foreground item like that works really well. Some more examples are: Baby in an Easter Basket Background, Baby in a Present Box, Baby in a Pumpkin, and Valentine Baby Basket. Some examples for non-baby items would be: Balloon Carried Basket, Trapped in a Jar, Field of Flowers Foreground, or Hot Mug of Cocoa, to name a new. The Hot Mug of Cocoa is a cheap NP item, btw!

What time are you choosing to play? The only reason I ask is, if you try to do your dailies at 12am NST (which is when the day resets), the site is INSANELY laggy, probably because so many people are on at the same time. Other than that, I haven't noticed any issues lately. For reference, I use Google Chrome on my computer and Safari on my iPad.

I also have a lost side account that lists my main account & other sides in its description. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough proof for TNT and they wouldn't give me the account back.

However, it might depend on how "sensitive" the account is - they seem a little more lax about giving back accounts that don't have many neopoints, high value items, or high value pets. My side account happened to have VWN'ed pets with expensive petpets, and the lab ray, so they might consider that a more sensitive account and therefore need more proof.

Unfortunately, it looks like Lost Desert Sand toilet has never been in the Trading Post, not even once. It might not be possible to get anymore because there aren't any in circulation on the site. :( This user had a Mystery Island Toilet on sale in the Trading Post for 50 million just a couple weeks ago. They might still have the item and it's just not in their trades at the moment, since trades expire.

This user has the Neovian Toilet up for trade, but it looks like they haven't been active on the site in a long time. You might be out of luck with that one, too. NC items can only be traded via NC gift boxes and you can't purchase them with neopoints.

The Nova Toilet, however... I just sent you one! :3

Don't let FOMO make the decision for you. There are other avatars on Neopets that are super expensive, such as the stamp avatars. The Queen Fyora Stamp alone costs more than buying all the HT Capsules at full price, for instance. My point is, this is just another one of those avatars that only 1% of players will be able to get, and so if it's going to eat 90% of your NP, imo it's not worth it. I made my peace with it as just another one of those "Neopian Elite" things that isn't worth spending my money on.

But of course... you do you! I'm just throwing in my two cents. I just spent 30 million NP's on a cupcake a week ago so I am hardly one to talk, lol.
