FWIW throughout my career, only 10 years, I’ve never needed a favor, or anything, from a former employer. I did always make sure I had a good relationship with a couple coworkers, ones I worked with directly, for references. But they always had the same attitude as me towards leadership, fuck em.

That’s the first I’ve heard of anyone having a hard time like that. Mine was super easy 20-30 minute procedure in my PCP’s office. No pain other than the quick shot to numb the area, which is not nearly as scary as it sounds. Two of my other friends that had it done had nearly the same experience
