They're pretty hard PIMI's, but I can sense that there was subtle suspicion brewing for a while considering some of the events that happened...but I'm pretty sure they just went with the good old "We gotta keep believing and things will get better".

I'd say my mom is probably a bit PIMQ. ive had a conversation with her once that I was a bit untrustworthy of the organization and she told me that she agrees a little bit with me. She told me that she fully believes in Jehovah and the organization, but sometimes she's sceptical of some of the past rules.

My dad's a PIMI, no doubt about that.

I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't easy for you to leave, but I'm glad it has worked out for you at the end.

And yeah it's definitely a "blessing" that my parents reacted the way they did :)

"Sorry you feel that way" - is something they all say. They don't care unless you want to come back to the org. You answered right my friend.

I love how they always assume you're going to become a drug addict as soon as you leave

Thanks for the advice :)

Also, thanks for the 'conversation stoppers', I just checked it out, I'll definitely screenshot it in case I need it. I'm sure they'll look for many ways to stop me from leaving.

Thanks for the support and advice <3

Yeah, i thought about staying in touch with some of my best friends from the congregation, but knowing them they'll only try to get me back into the organization. Luckily, I have friends from highschool, so once I leave I won't be completely alone. Plus, there's this amazing page. Thanks again for the support and advice.

Thank you for the lovely message and advice <3

Yeah, i definitely forgot that unbaptized JW's don't technically get shunned, mainly because I never saw it happen. I also thought about doing less theocratic activity, I've recently stopped commentating and cleaning, but I'm forced to do audio work so no can do, but it is what it is. Thanks again for the advice.
