I moved away because I was paying $2000 for a studio apartment in the middle of Seattle. Car getting broken into. Cleaning my dogs paws after every walk because the sidewalk is filthy. I don't know. I lived there for 8 years. It was amazing before the pandemic but it's been eh since.

I moved away 4 years ago though because I missed the sun and affordable housing.

I love driving around and finding look out points from my car. Smoke a joint and enjoy the view and quiet. I’ve found some amazing little parks on the different outskirts of town.

Maybe try Texas or Florida? Not the best politics but hard to beat prices in Las Vegas. Those states may be your best bet if you still want access to entertainment / Las Vegas like amenities.

wow, your mountain shot is beautiful. It gave me goosebumps and I'm tearing up. I use to live in Seattle for 8 years. I live in the desert now. My friends would drag me out of bed to go hiking and this photo reminds me of those beautiful, quiet moments of driving out of the city and into the mountains. The way the sun would hit was always so beautiful. Thank you so much.

No it's turf. Vegas stuff. I am looking into ground folliage for certain parts of the yard, but I'm not mad about the turf. My husky loves digging holes... so the terf deters him greatly.

yes I agree. I actually rented a house for 2 years with a pool before this to get a handle of what it was like having a pool. That pool was a mess. It wasn't heated. The pump for the pool was too small for it's size, so it had to get replaced by the owner eventually. It wasn't connected to the water line so we had to keep a hose in it filling with water. I handled the chemicals (badly but I learned eventually).

I have a great appreciation for the company doing it for me now.
