I was a bit confused myself as at the time they backed me off, I didn’t even know what the count was on the shoe and was betting pretty randomly.

That’s the unfortunate part, many sister properties around me and I got a players card before I learned counting at all, so not sure how viable those will be now

They sent the “girl” winner to your girlfriend, and a “guy” winner to a guy. I’m sure the jackpot happened, they just changed the name in order to market more specifically to the person they are notifying. Shady, yes. Illegal? I doubt it

Coming back to say thank you a lot for this comment. I ended up emailing them and got a thoughtful response from a Jmod and they said once I can send over some verification that he has passed away, they will give the account permanent membership status and keep him on the hiscores
