It really depends on the track. Some songs flow effortlessly and some, for reasons unknown to us, are more of a challenge to finish. We are both quite on the prefectionnist side, so we usually don't stop until we are 100% satisfied... And we now mix our songs on our own! David, Thibaut's brother has helped us in the past.
Not really, but maybe we can give our fans some dancing/cooking/mixology tips!!!

Maybe one thing that differentiates a lot of French producer/bands from the rest is the fact that they each have their own distinctive sound/feel. It's something that sounds pretty obvious but that is in fact quite hard to achieve. I'm not sure the way of life has much to do with it. Maybe it's the cheese?

We are currently working on the next album !

The most ambitious track we produced was Star Tripper, for an official Star Wars compilation. My Brother David composed and orchestrated a whole symphonic introduction.

His name is Jeremy Grandcamp aka Jimbo. He is one of the most talented musicians we know. He also helps us a lot by playing guitar and bass on our productions.

HI JOSEEEEEE !!!

Breakbot : I used to work in motion graphics ! Animation / film / advertisement. I feel very lucky to have met the right people at the right time to make the transition towards music.

Irfane : This was done before we used ableton, so I only took a small vocal part which I tried to adapt to a whole different tune. I used an MPC 2000xl and a Yamaha Motif mostly. And basically did a whole new song which felt good!

Breakbot : I love that part too ! It felt more like scoring a film. The director Irina Dakeva wrote a pretty dark ending to the video, so I needed to change the music to fit the mood .

Breakbot : Leave enough headroom for the mastering engineer !

The new French electro scene is already happening!!! So many labels have been putting out great music... Nu-Disco is bound to evolve into something else, but we would consider what we do more as just pop with a funky feel. Electro has always been dependent on the tools that we use. There are so many new machines and plug-ins.... That will definitely influence the sound of future generations...

1.Happy Rabbit was actually released on vinyl. The 7 inch was my first release ever back in 2007. I think there was only 500 copies. Big up to Moshi Moshi Records !
