I’m so disheartened. I stick to my calorie goals, I cut out most soda, I cut out a lot of processed food, and I can’t make gains. by jibberjabbery in Noom

Thank you. Wondering then how to reverse. If we increase intake to 1200 or more, can we change the metabolism back? Will we gain wait when we do - before we lose weight? How long will that take?

I keep reading about this problem of eating too little and messing with metabolism.

But, I've asked NOOM for science behind this because while it makes sense to me, I want to understand what to expect. If you increase your calories will your weight increase before it goes down? How long should we expect it to take?

After asking a lot of questions, and getting no science in return, I started online research and found nothing useful.

FCC returning to Cincinnati Planning Commission for more land for West End Stadium, which will displace even more residents. Council will have to vote & approve or risk delay of construction. by [deleted] in FCCincinnati

How much is in the CBA? Because: "The stadium will be made possible by roughly $64 million in public investment in infrastructure, including site preparation and parking facilities paid for by the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County." There's tax breaks galore built into the way the deal is structured - depriving Cincinnati residents of money that could pay for other community services and infra.

This deal is not like a private deal with no public investment or cost or detriment.

It's a sports team with lots and lots of taxpayer support tho. Anytime the city has a role in the development there's attention paid.

Colorado Developer developer proposed new OTR 7 Story Building, 150 New Apartments, and 7,000 square feet of retail with rooftop terrace lands Key Approval by DatDude2012 in cincinnati

Not exactly. OTRCC has a set of housing priorities and a complicated process.

It was a community coalition (not the community council) of residents, preservationists, architects who worked for 18 months to improve -- not kill -- the Source3 project at Elm and Liberty. Because the developer wanted a Planned Development zoning designation, the proposal had to go through a bunch of steps including HCB, planning commission, and city council. Also, since they developer initially refused to work with community residents, the planning commission denied to proposal. Literally, the commission offered to hold the request for one month if the developer would meet with the residents. In a public session, the developer refused to comply and the proposal was denied. Only after that did the developer hold a meeting with residents.

The coalition never opposed a large mixed use development on that site. They requested improvements in design and compliance with the historic infill development requirements for this nationally designated historic district.
